Pelham Spong as Ashley
Pelham first knew she wanted to act at the age of 6 when her mother sang the Beatles’ “They’re Gonna Put Me in the Movies” to her. She pursued her ambition at the College of Charleston where she double majored in the Performing Arts and French. There she was able to play a variety of roles including a Rhinoceros, a prostitute with a heart, a WASP and Alice in Closer, which was part of the Piccolo Spoleto Festival 2007 (Charleston, South Carolina). Hoping to combine her two loves, French and theatre, she left the US for Paris where she’s been residing permanently since 2007. Other favorite roles include Ophelia and both Gwendolyn and Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest.
